The Fairmont is a chain of luxury hotels and resorts that currently operate over 70 hotels and resorts in 19 countries around the world. Countries such as Canada, Germany, The United States, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, to name a few. It’s parent company is the Fairmont Raffles Hotels International and it’s headquarters currently reside in Toronto, Ontario. It’s first hotel opened in 1907 in San Francisco, California. The Fairmont is a large enterprise currently employing almost 26,000 employees and in 2011 it had a revenue total of over $350 million.
